Ryburn relocate to their new purpose built factory after having being in temporary accommodation for 18 months. The new factory allows more streamlined and efficient production and has a room height to allow the installation of larger high pressure presses.
February 2008
Ryburn become the official UK distributor of Jislon pole cones. Peter Hoban joins the team specifically to promote the Jislon pole cones and the Ryburn range of traffic products.
April 2008
A new range of leisure tiles is introduced. These tiles are manufactured from synthetic rubber and are specifically aimed at the balcony and roof terrace applications where a colourful and durable finish is required.
May 2008
A new two piece speed cushion design is introduced; the new cushion has a unique underside profile which allows direct bolting to the road surface without the need for gluing. The underside profile ensures a positive fit of the edges to the road profile.
July 2008
Design and testing of a new one piece speed cushion in 1.65m x 2.0m is completed and the first cushions are made commercially available. The new cushion can be fitted in less than 30 minutes minimising traffic disruption.
September 2008
Trial installations of a new rubber tactile paving slab are completed and small scale commercial production begins. The new tactile slab, available in red for controlled crossings and buff for uncontrolled, allows slabs to be fitted at any crossing point without the fear of slab breakage.
